B. Friedman & Company was engaged by Edward R. James Partners,
LLC to conduct a fiscal impact assessment of a proposed multi-family
housing development in
Deerfield
,
Ill.
The purpose of this analysis was to determine the net fiscal impact of
the proposed development on six major taxing bodies and servicing
entities to be used in negotiating impact fees and other charges. They
were: the
Village
of
Deerfield
, the
Village
of
Deerfield Library
, School District 113,
School District
109, the Deerfield Park District, and the Deerfield/Bannockburn Fire
Protection District. Annual recurring costs and revenues were
projected and compared on a stabilized-year basis using the average
cost/revenue accounting approach.
Results:
The project was approved.
