  • Public-Private Venture Structuring
  • Development Incentive Packages
  • Developer Solicitation and Negotiation
Numerous engagements have been completed related to tax incremental financing, including eligibility studies, redevelopment plans, financial feasibility, and development agreements. Financial analyses and public-private development deal structuring assignments have been completed for several recent TIFs. The firm has helped create loan or grant structures where TIF funds were used within a private development.

We also have been involved in use of tax abatements and rebates as tools for economic development, evaluating alternative approaches to creating the most cost-effective program to address competitive situations and financing gaps.

Over the years, the principal of the firm has assisted clients in obtaining assistance from many governmental sources. Those have included Urban Development Action Grants (UDAG) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds. We have helped universities, hospitals, and not-for-profits structure development ventures addressing their unique missions and objectives.

The firm has assisted both private and public clients in the structuring and negotiation of public-private partnerships including soliciting developers on behalf of public and not-for- profit clients.
